One does not simply lay someone off for the money
Recently our fellow editor, NAME REDACTED, here at The Cabal took a vacation and tried out surfing. I myself find my work at The Cabal to be vacation enough, but that’s neither here nor there.
In either case, in an effort to create some kind of productive output from his traipsing about in tropical climes I decided to interview him about his experiences in taking up surfing, specifically all the things he didn’t like about it.

A regressive tax structure to fund America’s next generation.
Reinvestment in United States infrastructure is desperately needed. Millions of water pipes carry lead contamination and fracking residue to citizens. Thirty-million homes in the US have gas leaks, damaged plumbing, and/or poor heat. One-fifth of those have lead paint. Roads and bridges deteriorate, trains run slowly off their tracks, planes crash. Unemployment and poverty rates are inversely correlated.
Simultaneously, debt is cheap around the world. Interest rates are at all-time lows, asset valuations are similarly at near all-time highs, and debt is cheap for those who can afford it.
